Australians, gotta love them

From my short time in IM, I see a lot of great stuff coming from Australians, especially stuff like Ed Dale's 30 day challenge and countless other contributions from the many marketers that come from there.

Obviously the largest concentration of English speaking marketers is in the U.S, Canada, UK but so far have been really impressed with Australians that I really felt the need to say: thank you Australians.

Perhaps it is because I grew up in South Africa, I am more inclined towards the Australian style and accent since we both share a common religion called Rugby (think of NFL in the states, that's how rugby is in Australia and SA), so our two nations definitely have this thing going for ages but anyhow, I really do appreciate all the wonderful individuals that come from all corners of the planet and make this forum and business such a great place to be in.

...and finally a little entertaining video from one of my favorite comedians ever, enjoy

Rugby isn't quite as big as you think over here. Rugby League is more popular than Rugby and Australian Rules Football is bigger still.

Had you said Cricket then I'd have to agree with you, but Rugby, not so much.

All that aside, go the Wallabies

Thanks for the Aussie support. And BTW, Koalas are not bears.

As far as rugby is concerned, being a rugby front-rower takes a lot of courage and a liking for having the head of a team-mate shoved up your bum in the scrum.

It is no wonder rugby league (a different game, although derived from rugby) is more popular in Australia and Australian Rules as mentioned above is even more popular, since scrums don't exist in the latter.

South Africans are coming around to the Australian game as there is a growing competition in that country (Australian rules football in South Africa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Marsupials right? It's kinda like the South African Springbok getting mistaken for a common antelope though the Springbok is of that family.

Yeah haha, I did play as a prop for 2 years in my teens and then stopped cause the sport got me a bone fracture but was great fun.

I always thought Australians had the same, drop everything attitude when it comes to Rugby though it does seem like that many times , when we play against you or New Zealand

I been away from South Africa for many years now and I really miss that rugby atmosphere, watching games on the stadium used to be such great fun.
