I was SOF2, then Counter Strike, Then CS Source ,then TF then on to L4D and curently playing L4D2.

  New characters, new weapons, new specials. If you liked L4D, you will probably like L4D2. If you didn't, you wont.

all of the resident evil games that I have played are great. I have yet to try 5 though, I am looking forward to it greatly!!!!!

  Resident evil five is a good game but it lacks the atmosphere of the older resident evil games. It's more like an action game. What i disliked most is that it's short. The best resident evil games of the series are resident evil 2 and code name veronica. What i liked most in resident evil 5 was the co op and that you have another character to assist you during the mission.

I've played Resident Evil 5 on PS3. Here's my take:

1. The graphics are superb, and weapons are now named and really take after modern firearms (although you can upgrade them to ridiculous amounts of ammo).

2. The storyline and dialogues still reek full of cheesiness, especially Sheva Alomar. If you don't mind...

3. RE5, like RE4, yeah it's third person shooter now and I agree that it's lost its 'horror' value compared to its first 3 major titles.

4. I love Albert Wesker's character. He's a very God-like villain, and it's no wonder he ranks easily in the top 50 computer game villains of all time (can't remember exactly which number). Albert can flash step, dodge bullets, and perform a series of fatal blows into the player, some even in instant death. He's armed with a Samurai Edge as well, actually saved just for Chris Redfield like it's some kind of humiliation, lol (play the game you'll know what I mean)

SUM IT UP: yeah it can still be fun, I love the Mercenaries game the best. However I've had more fun playing RE4 in all seriousness. RE4 still had some 'horror' value and it was less cheesy than RE5. Don't forget RE5 was built to support multiplayer so a lot of changes were made in spite of maintaining the third person shooter genre.
