Some of my WSO get locked for some reason and I haven't been able figure it out, it's within the TOS.

Can anybody shine a light?

Thanks.

Maybe because you refused to answer reply 15 and maybe that software is exactly the same and your's and it's the same price!

    Thus against the WSO rules!

Or maybe because you've been previously banned. Think that could be it?

    Paul,

I'm still trying to figure why:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/off-topi...gMPTZ7Ofll3TXR

got locked. You can't blame ME, I was just having some fun with semantics, and trying to kind of defend indy.

      Steve,

If I were to guess, it would be to stop the myob/Indy crap from turning into something unpleasant again. They both seem to have trouble behaving like adults.

After the chain of events, I am surprised you would include Indy in this one. Indy does like to discuss deeper waters that are allowed here, but if you notice, since he as been given his own group on TM for such discussions, he hasn't transgressed the rules here at all. This is twice since a thread that meant much more to him than you realize - for many reasons - was ruined that he's been called out. Some people don't "get" Indy - and he can infuriate some, too - but he's no troll.
I do thank you for locking that thread. It was definitely the right thing to do no matter what your reasons.

          Sal,

With the absence of most of the political threads, I haven't seen enough of his posts to have noticed a change. I'll take your word for it that it's happened. I'm not seeing any such adjustment on Paul's (myob's) part.

    Paul,

OK, I guess I can see that. Thanks for the explanation. 8-) I figured my semantics about how DOW can be misconstrued, might be an entertaining distraction.

I haven't broken any rules by merely showing I was right all along, and Indy was wrong about the DOW. It was a legitimate bet, but some people just seem to be sore losers.

True. There are no rules specifically requiring adult behavior. There is, however, a lot of room for judgement calls on the part of the moderators. The written rules are guidelines, not the sum total of what is and is not acceptable here.

Let it go. He's said he's not going to do it, and hammering on the point serves no purpose. If the two of you wish to discuss his reasons, please do so privately.

HEY MYOB. You said I was WRONG when I said DOW closed at 30.60! BTW it is at 30.66 NOW! The "dow jones" or, more precisely, DJIA(dow jones industrial average) is at 11041.79 now. But THAT is a different animal.

Steve, I never said you were flat out WRONG, I was merely correcting your very imprecise statement which was inferred by my imprecise reference to DOW and not The Dow.

      http://www.warriorforum.com/off-topi...ml#post1985760
But HAS DOW reached 11,000? I mean DOW closed at 30.60 today! AND, the DOW TA, a popular average, closed at 4,536.66 today!

GEE, if you meant something ELSE, maybe you should have been more precise!

BTW According to ALL HISTORY, and the originators of the index, the DJIA no longer exists! They destroyed it several years ago to get at least two companies that didn't qualify, since they were on the wrong exchanges and in the wrong industries, on the list. So it could be argued that THAT is LESS than 11,000!
This does not mean you or I were WRONG, it just shows how easy it is to get confused. As I tried to explain, the components of The Dow have not changed since I made the prediction on Oct 18, 2009 it would reach 11,000 before July 2010. This was at a time when no one seemed to believe it would ever happen, and were instead obssessed with only gloom and doom. On June 8, 2009, General Motors and Citigroup were replaced by The Travelers Companies and Cisco Systems.

Me and those who followed me by investing during those record stock market lows have made a whole lot of money.
