Can you spare $1 to test my Paypal Button?

I hate to ask, but since Paypal won't let me send money to myself, I don't have anywhere else to ask.
We have the defense fund website in my sig with a donation button. Someone informed us it wasn't working (ah, yes, we've heard this before about Paypal). So I contacted Paypal and was told how to fix it. But I would like someone to send $1 to us and make sure it is working. I 'fixed' all the buttons on the site, so any of them should (emphasis) work.
I really appreciate it.
I need to be away from the computer for a couple of hours, but will check back later this afternoon!

Thank you, again, Janet! And thanks for the 'testimonial'. It does seem to be working...at least for the time being.
No, this was NOT a trick! Until I switched out the Paypal button, when anyone chose to donate, the Paypal system just looped. I couldn't check it myself, because Paypal won't let me send money to myself.
Even if it was a trick, what's $1 to you!!
I've been a good Warrior and it was not my intent to 'trick' anyone, only get my system verified that it worked.

1. You could test it by using your debit or credit card or bank account. You don't necessarily have to Paypal yourself money with your Paypal account.

2. You can also send .01. You don't need to test on a dollar as far as I know.

3. If it's really just a test maybe they'd be less suspicious about you fishing for donations (not saying that's what you were doing) if you had said you would refund them ASAP. If it were just a test I would refund.

4. Lastly I *may be* mistaken but I think Paypal allows you to make test purchases. If you look through their documentation it might be there, but I'm not sure.

Just saying so next time you know you can test it yourself to see. I'm not trying to be critical I just made this post so that you know how to do it.

I didn't know about the penny thing, I thought $1 would be the minimum and easier-thanks. Anyone who helped me test and wants their $1 back, let me know. I don't think the thing about Paypal letting you do 'test' trials works for donation buttons. I had asked when I spoke to them on the phone.
I didn't think to use the guest function with a cc. Thanks!
