    Ok, I've been spending some time on farmville, and in the farmville forums.

    Anyway, I posted that the swinging gates are swanky, and swanky got blurted out like a bad word.

    Is this a bad word somewhere? Is zynga American?

    Ok, and while I'm at it, is anyone looking for some farmville plr? because I just spent a solid month getting to level 37 and I have some serious knowledge and info on the game and could probably whip up some articles...

      Hmmm. I just checked the Urban Dictionary. Was surprised to see that there is one definition that's remotely "bad wordish." I'd never encountered this def before, but hey, I'm old. :rolleyes:

      Swanky pronounced as it is spelt is a term used when something is so bad that it is S**t and Wank at the same time.

    What do you mean?

    wank might be a good "word part" to indicate a bad word and maybe THAT is why.

    swanky is a word that is not often used that almost seems low class that means ostentatious.
