Did YOUR IM World End Yesterday?

Okay, so the WF went down yesterday...all day.

And yes, I occasionally checked to see if it was back up.

But I also didn't run around my house screaming that the world was coming
to an end.

Ask yourself these questions. And if the answer was yes to any of them,
you might have a more serious problem than you realize.

1. Did your income dry up?

2. Did you have nothing to do?

3. We potential customers unable to contact you because your only
means of communication is through PM?

4. If the WF closed up permanently, would your business suffer
significantly?

Again, if you answered yes to any of these questions, you have a serious
problem that needs to be addressed.

Me?

I had a great day yesterday.

But I did miss yackin with you guys and gals.

Until I saw this thread, I didn't know the Warrior Forum had been down at all.

I was too busy doing my important items and didn't have time yesterday to login to Warrior.

Hi Steve, I'll take this opportunity to repeat a reply I just made in one of the other Warrior Forum down threads today...

OR to remind people that there's more money to be made OUTSIDE this forum, than in it...

...it's funny, people panicking about sales due to the forum being down. I wonder what these folks would do if the forum permanently shut down or got sold off to someone who charged $5000 per month access?

I'd dare to guess that there would be a lot of crawling back to those nasty bosses in those nasty offices sooner or later...

    lol :-)

Anyway, panic over...for NOW. But next time, be prepared for the worst...because as Karl said, eggs in one basket = walking on a tightrope for an income.

oh boy....Just like everything in life, diversification is key (well, ALMOST everything....not referencing something like STD's or something like that...lol)....it's definitely important to expand one's online presence, and avenues beyond the Warrior Forum.

If anything, I think we can all learn ALOT from yesterday's occurrences. As much as I like it here, you can't rely solely on one place for the complete upkeep and growth of a business. To do so would be incredibly unwise.

It didn't make any difference to me.

I came by few times and it didn't load or I got errors messages, so I just went and did other stuff.

I did wonder what it would do to people who have become accustomed to only selling stuff in this forum and nowhere else.

The forum is great but I think too many people see it as somewhere to sell anything they have rather than all the other good things it has to offer.

Unless you rely on forums to make your money it did not phase me one bit.

I went out and I was not even aware it was down until one of my friends sent me an SMS.

When you have a list then I don't think it makes a difference.

P.S CPA Income and my niche sites did pretty well

Yes it did cost me some money but not enough to matter

If I lived on my WF income I would be poor.

    Thanks a lot Steven!!!

I was within two minutes of making a very similar post.

Even our subject lines were eerily close. The only difference is that mine didn't use the word IM.

Anyway, you'd think the world really did come to an end.

I love the WF, spend a lot of time here, recommend it, am incredibly grateful for it...but I still am in touch with reality (at least as far as THIS topic goes).

    Sheesh people! Calm down. Di-ver-si-fy!

Also, I was also wondering what the point was of all the posts that said "The Forum Is Back!". I mean, if you can read the forum, it's back, right? I could understand posts like that at other places, but doing it in the forum doesn't make sense to me.

Kind of like an e-mail once got from my dear mother. At the end she said, "Please let me know if you didn't get this e-mail". Think about it.

    All the best,
    Michael

No problem for me. I don't make any money anyway! :>)

But, I do enjoy stopping by a couple of times during the evening to see what everyone's up to.

The answer to all your questions was no.

One bad thing was there was no update to the RnRObscurities thread.

That means two posts today to make up for it.

    Please, pretty please.
