Health Insurance Up 30%

I received a letter from my Insurance provider stating that my health insurance will be increased by 30%
Thats about $80 extra per month, i was just wondering if anyone else has had such a big increase in their insurance lately?

    I'm just getting health insurance again with my new employer in May, and I think they are planning on checking out other options because of an increase coming in October. Right before I left my last job in February, we had just had an increase in our rates that were almost double.

    I was going to do some research on a new insurance plan but if it's across the board then why bother, i just thought a 30% increase was a bit steep.

    The CAR insurance companies in california did the same thing when legislation passed. The viability of insurance companies is at RISK! The new requirement to accept KNOWN expensive clients and all RAISES COSTS! SO, OF COURSE, they raise premiums!

    You know, it is INCREDIBLE! The government REQUIRES banks to loan to poor people and then SCREAMS when a worthless asset is SOLD to try to handle THEIR requirement.
    Well, the government REQUIRED that insurance take on worthless customers(Preexisting conditions that means they will cost more, but no increased charge). The government will probably SCREAM vindication with the increase in prices!

    BTW no person in the group can pay more than twice what any other does. so if the VERY SICK must pay $2000/month, then the healthy must pay at least $1000/month!

    BTW They have less than FOUR years to get their prices in line, so such increases, etc... have to happen ASAP!
