No grounds to prosecute in Russia so they stripped them of their weapons and Navigation Equipment, then set them free 300 nautical miles from land.

Unbelievable how a bunch of rag tag peasants can create such chaos to world shipping, like the saying goes "you live by the sword you should die by the sword".

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

        NO - they didn't wash up...yet. LOL.

Really sounds like a few members of my Grandma's family lines over there might have been in on that one. LOL.

So they couldn't prosecute 'em so they killed 'em? Sounds like a new take on Western Justice, I wonder if our new government might take it up :-)

They didn't kill them. They let them go. The Ocean did the rest.

It is. Had it been the 17th, they just would have killed them when they boarded the ship.

Lets see if I can make it through a comment without laughing at this again:rolleyes:

First they could of killed the pirates when they took their ship back.
Second they could of brought them back to Russia and sent them to Siberia, it's not like Russia has never put anyone in prison that weren't convicted of a crime first.

Setting them free was a very compassionate act on their part, here I go laughing again
