Probably The Best Public-Service Ad Ever! (1 million views in a week)

Hello Warriors,

Road safety ads on this side of the Atlantic tend to be rather gory. The general approach is along the lines of of "if you drink and drive/don't buckle up/drive too fast, then you're going to die, and here's what your death is going to look like in excruciating detail!"

For that reason, it was somewhat refreshing to see the ad below, which I had posted in another thread but I thought it was so good that it deserved a thread of it's own. It takes another approach altogether (a reminder of what you stand to lose, I suppose) and I thought it was superbly done (and that the "driver" looks like a young Chuck Norris too; which makes it even better! ).

I believe this video (when it was placed on YouTube) cracked a million views in less than two weeks, and has risen to over 7 million in less than 3 months. It has been shown on TV all around the world too. Apparently, there was no advertising or creative agency involved. It was created by two people at the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership (for those who don't know, Sussex is a county on the south coast of England). So kudos to them!
