I use Flippa. Easy to use. You need to make sure you have a some-what valuable domain though to recoup the listing fees.

$19 plus a 5% "success fee" (which you have the buyer pay or split the fee w/ the buyer).

A lot of buyers on Flippa so for me it's worth it. I put up an auction last night as I went to bed and by the time I checked my email someone bought the BIN for it.

So I sold it for $100

I offered to split the 5% success fee with the buyer so I pay $2.50. PayPal took .96 cent fee.

    $100
    ($19)
    ($2.50)
    ($0.96)

    So my profit was $77.54

I was going to let this domain expire in September so I'm happy.

it really depends on the domain in question, there is SEDO, a lot of domain name forums, ebay, you could call people. I would be very careful with ebay though as you will most likely not get as much for it.

Some domains it is worth searching for an end user. Do you have any idea of its value?

Namepros is free and has a lot of members looking to buy good domains at a bargain. DNForum also is free after an initial small membership fee. Like Adalf says it depends on the domain. Sedo is one of the best IMO for quality domains. Why not post it here and then we could give you a better suggestion?

That's one of the reasons I don't like selling domains on the domaining forums. You can sell your domain for more money selling it directly to a customer who wants it for their business/website than domainers.

Of course that all depends on the value of the domain. The most important part of selling the domain regardless of where you sell it.
