Are You Ready For The End Of Lost?

The 4 1/2 hour event (2 hour retrospective + 2 1/2 hour series finale) is
starting in about 2 minutes.

Can't say it's the end of an era (6 seasons) but it is certainly the end of
a big part of my life the last 6 years.

Lost has, surprisingly, become my favorite show of all time. To understand
why, you really have to get into all the fine details of the writing.

There will never be another show like it again.

4 and a half hours? I don't think I can sit that long....

2 hours and 38 minutes? Maybe.

Lost has still been on television the past four years?

    Wow. Didn't even notice.

Next you'll tell me 24 actually had a second season.

No, it wasn't purgatory, that's what Jack's father had to explain to Jack!

What happened DID happen, this is the "meeting" of everyone post-death.

Some people died before Jack, and some died after (i.e. Hugo and Ben talking about being great #1 and #2s for each other) but in the end they were all "waiting" for each other to finally "move on."

At least the ones that had a big impact on their lives...hence why Ecko and Michael/Walt weren't there.

        A great ending!

I mainly meant the "flash sideways" part being purgatory of a sort, a place people went after death who weren't ready to "let go".

All in all, I found this season to be quite unsatisfying, as if the writers had painted themselves into a corner and were trying to tie up mysteries and questions they had never fully developed.

IMO, anybody who was dissatisfied with the last season of Lost and the
series finale was never a true fan of this show.

They could have never come up with a better and more fitting ending.

But you know the old saying..."You can't please everybody."

i am a massive Supernatural fan though BUT this current series isn't really doing it for me....series 5 was superb. But this one seems to have taken a step back and backed off the main storyline. They should finish this story in the next series as well.

I've probably only watched 3 or 4 episodes previous to tonight - but found the recap/review and the final episode to be absolutely great. Fabulous way to end the series. Bravo!
