My favorite is the barroom fight in Raiders.

Of course that whole movie is one of my all time favorites period. Really

Actually, my all time favorite fight scene is also from Raiders of the Lost Ark...But it's been posted before so I didn't bring it up until now:

Just the classic "don't bring a knife to a gun fight".

The movie fights I hate are when the hero is in a fight and it's "even" or the hero is losing...Then the hero is shot, stabbed, poisoned, beaten up and then only has one eye, one arm and one lung, now wins the fight when he couldn't win when he was healthy.

Hard to believe no ones posted the greatest sword fight on film. Even better than Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone in Robin Hood.

The battle at the House of Blue Leaves is my favourite. They included two Bruce Lee fights but left out the best. His fight with Han was cool but the battle against unending attackers underground was better. Hands to sticks to nunchucks, never tiring.

Let's not forget the battle between a young, Darth Vada and Obi Wan Kenobie.

They fought for almost a half hour.

Good call on the Ip Man fight scene. Can't wait to see the sequal.

    Here's my personal favorite toplist:

    NUMBER ONE:

Tony Jaa - Tom Yum Goong (The Protecter)

    Best....fight scene....EVER!!

    NUMBER TWO:

Jet Li - Fist of Legend

His best fight scene in any movie - kind of like number one

    NUMBER THREE:

Classic Jackie vs Benny - Wheels on Meals

Probably Jackie's best straight up fight scene rather than stunt fight scene

    NUMBER FOUR:

Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris - Way of the Dragon

Top of the Bruce Lee fight scene heap

    NUMBER FIVE

Tony Jaa - Tom Yum Goong (The Protecter)

Another win for Tony Jaa. The longest continuous fight scene record was previously held by Jackie Chan, but he passed the torch on after this epic:

    NUMBER SIX

Jackie Chan - Rumble in the Bronx

    Awesome stunt fight scene

    NUMBER SEVEN

    Seven Samurai by Akira Kurosawa

All time classic and one of the greatest movies ever made.

    WARNING:
Some idiot put god awful music on this so turn your sound off. Sorry, was the best version on YouTube.

    NUMBER EIGHT

Donnie Yen - Every fight scene in Ip Man

    NUMBER NINE

Jet Li - Also every fight in Fearless

Here's a compilation to get you started

    NUMBER TEN

    Ziyi Zhang vs. Michelle Yeoh

Two legendary female martial artists and one of the best weapons fight scenes ever.

Iron man is my favourite movie

    • Not a classic fight movie scene but the knife fight in the final battle of saving private ryan is a classic. It makes my blood run cold.

I also like the bar fight in out for justice.

I also agree with the original list containing the opening fight in Casion Royale. That is just cold. Even better with the deletes still in:

Sorry, folks, Bruce Lee is the standard to be measured from.

And you forgot OUT FOR JUSTICE with Steven Segal.

Matrix, Hidden Dragon and other similar are entertaining as action, but Bruce in the man when it comes to mortal combat.

That movie is awesome, lot of people don't know about it even though Christian Bale is in it. Fight scenes are sick, how their trained since their young to know every type of shoot out and fight scene and combination of stats of what could happen... friggen crazy lol

Equilibrium was quite impressive, I thought. It started out a bit slow, then really took off. Definitely not your average, same-old, same-old movie.

I thought the son was legitimately nasty (I was thinking Hitler Youth, haha) until the very end when he showed his true side. Almost hated the kid until the end .

I might also add that the ending scene in V for Vendetta was pretty amazing, with the knives and whatnot. Unbelievable, yes, but awesome nonetheless.
