Doctor Who theme performed with Tesla coils.

    one day in college a bunch of us were at a friend's farm (well, his parents) and got to wondering if we could pulse the Earth's magnetic field by turning a few of the grain silos into tesla coils and another silo into a big vann degraf generator. maybe create a tank circuit as well using another silo. What can I say - there may have been alcohol involved in this thought experiment.

    Luckily we couldn't find enough wire to create the coils since who knows what this would do to the early warning satellites.

    I've love to see a Doctor Who episode centered on Tesla. Now Matt Smith is the perfect Doctor. David Bowie was a great Tesla in The Prestige. Just bring them both together and wallah!
