I'm new to warriorforum and i have to admit i don't know what they mean by 'posts'!!would someone care to explain this to me???pleasssssssssse..........and is a post the same as a thread???

    Your opening message (above) is a 'post'. A thread is made of posts.

    If a post was the same as a thread they would have the same name don't ya think?

    A thread is a topic started by someone, the replies are posts that are displayed in a "threaded" format, hence thread.

    A post I'd say is an outlet for a message you place on a forum, and a thread is a message about a particular topic of your choice that you placed onto a forum.

    A post is something you put in the ground that a fence attaches to.

    A thread is used with a needle to sew into material like a button on a shirt.:rolleyes:

    A forum is a collection of other forums and threads.

    Each thread is a collection of posts.

    When you look up at the top of this page, just under the logo, you will see this text:

    WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums > The Chat Room > The Off Topic Forum > HELP PLEASE!!!!what are 'POSTS'

    The last part is the name of the thread. This thread is inside "The Off Topic Forum," which is a forum inside "The Chat Room," which is inside "WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums."

    Each of the messages in this thread is a post.

    There are a couple of places in these forums where posting doesn't "count" - it doesn't increase the number of posts on your user profile. The Off-Topic forum is one of them.
