I need a prayer from all of you (seriously)...

OFF TOPIC

Hey everyone,

I haven't asked for anything from the forum in my 10+ years as a member but today, I really need something.

I just found out my grandmother is in the hospital with either a store (this would make her eighth) or bleeding in the brain. She's unresponsive, they're doing multiple cat scans and they're saying she may not make it.

I would be extremely grateful to all of you if you could drop by my Facebook page and commit to REALLY saying a prayer for her to pull through and recover...

I've helped hundreds of warriors over the years with discounts and free help when able so this is my request for some help myself.

As some of you know, I'm an ordained minister and firmly believe in group prayer.

  Sparing the details, I've recently been in a similar situation with my girlfriend's mom...our friends' and families' prayers made a HUGE difference. I wish your grandmother the best and me and my girlfriend will both be praying for her.

Thank all of you for your prayers. They are so gratefully appreciated.

I also have an update...

My grandmother is currently in a medically induced coma and in critical condition. She had an aneurysm of the brain and is bleeding internally. They are planning on keeping her in the coma for several days while monitoring her and hoping that she improves.

Your prayers are appreciated more than you know. The overwhelming response to my request is very touching.

I will continue to update this thread as I get more updates.

If you could continue to keep her in your prayers over the next couple of days, I'd be forever grateful.

Mccflo99, I said a quick prayer for you and yours. We don't know each other, but you and your mother are in my prayers.

Would you accept a word of advice from someone who's been in a similar situation as yourself? Make sure that you take care of yourself whilst she is recovering. I allowed the stress and strain of the situation to really tire me out (late night hospital visits after work; refereeing fights with other members of the family etc.) and I was so broken by the end of that difficult period that I needed care myself, and it took me a long time to recover.

Your physical and emotional health is important too, so take care of it! That way you can be strong for your mother and the rest of your family.
