BP interesting tidbits of info

That's Gary Null - and he's parroting the same theory/warning of disaster the idiot does that was mentioned last week. Once I realized he was giving the exact same "facts", I knew where that was going.

Honestly, this problem is bad enough without self-promotional talking heads jumping in to get attention with dire predictions. The folks making up these scenarios aren't scientists or oceanographers or geologists and wouldn't know a loggerhead if it bit them in the butt.

Sorry for the rant - not meant at you but these doomsday people are ridiculous.

I never bothered to waste my time trying to watch that video, so I don't know what IT covers.

Well, I never claimed to be an expert in math, so I won't tell you how long I estimate it will take, though it WILL be QUITE a while, obviously, With my estimates, it is likely nobody HERE would ever see it. But, if that well is large enough, it COULD effectively wipe out all sealife, and that can affect land life as well. And it wouldn't take THAT much oil. I mean you may need only 1/2 inch or so on the water, and who knows HOW deep that well really goes. Only a very thin film will wipe out surface life which is bad. Maybe a half inch could block enough light, etc... to affect other life. And the byproducts are ALREADY affecting oxygen in the ocean.

Of course, EVENTUALLY, other countries will realize how bad it is, assuming it goes long enough, and tell the US to GET LOST if they dare to restrict their ability to protect the WORLD'S interests. I only hope that the US realizes how bad this is and how bad it COULD be, and finally brings all resources to bare.

BTW SLOWLY, but noticeably, more and more people are saying this is NOT a spill, but a GUSHER! HECK, though they have called it a spill, maybe as many as 50% of the images shown have been of the GUSHER! THAT is the REAL problem. Stop THAT, and progression of the "spill" will eventually slow to potentially nothing.
