Have you ever eaten the food in Finland? Stupidity kills people who eat at McD's when there's all that real and great food around.

Just asking where a McD's was almost got someone's rear kicked in Paris. I couldn't believe it. Just absorbing the sights and some nitwits picked me out as an American (speaking English was a dead give away I guess) and they stopped me (also Americans) and asked how to find McDonalds. Who could believe that people from my own country are sooooo stupid that they will be in one of the greatest nations on earth for food and hunt down a McDonalds. I really wanted to slap them - real hard.

Sal, McDonalds sells French fries...perhaps they wanted to be able to tell their friends back home they actually ate the authentic kind...

Um....if you put that much MSG on poop it would taste good, too. Authentic fries are pommes frites, not soggy MSG laden strips of potato fried in beef flavored grease.

Sal, I generally take your word on most of the topics here. In this case I'm DEFINITELY going to take it because, err, well, I.....I just don't have any MSG. At least not enough to make poop taste good. French, maybe...but not good.

You need not take my word for it KJ. It was purely speculative. I am not going to be testing my own theory on this one either. I do, however, speak from experience when I say escargot in brandy sauce is wonderful food.

No idea how it was cooked, but a local tourist restaurant served escargot as one of the foods they wanted to include in my restaurant review. Having never eaten them before, I was naturally skeptical. Snails? Was I really going to eat snails?

Actually, I think they were in garlic butter, but man, they were fantastic! I was in love. Sadly, I never had them again. But I sure as heck enjoyed them that one time.

I also happen to love Big Macs, but don't let that overshadow my ability to appreciate good dishes.

I spoke to a family friend the other day. They had just come back from Italy and all they could do was go on about a fantastic English pub they had found that served great English food.

I mean come on, you go all the way to Italy where they have amazing cuisine and wine etc, yet you hunt down an english pub that serves English food :confused:

Hard to believe but some people are just not that in to food. My wife is a great example. She has a limited palette. She would be one of those looking for a McD's in Paris.

Unless there's something special about grilled cheese sandwiches in Paris, of course

IMO, why they need to create anti MacD on Facebook? when we all know that McDo has no responsibility about this. It just happen that the this crime is happened in mcdo. And what really matter is the ATTITUDE of those people who fought and involve in this crime.

Being a finn myself i find it funny this news even got outside of finland.
Reminds me of a thread i replied to earlier hmmm some kenster post about weird things in other countries that made me hungry.
Made me some iskender kebab and coffe

Edit:
Btw that Mcdonalds argument started about cigarettes.
The person that got shot asked for a smoke and the guy who later on shot them said why you ask me when theres ppl smoking in your car and a fist fight broke out then he went to the car for gun shot them and drove away.

Correction on the Soy. Over half of humanity depends on it. What's bad is processed Soy. When they separate out the components they become a problem. Avoid labels that say "soy protein" and such.

Eat all the tofu, soy sauce, teriyaki and soy beans you want.

Every time I read something like that I think of a guy I knew.
He only ate organic foods, drank spring water, and an occasional glass of wine.
Didn't smoke or do anything else that would be considered bad for your body.
He died from prostrate cancer at 42 years of age.
