Twitter Over Capacity Messages

Am I the only person experiencing a problem trying to upload to Twitter?

For the last 4 days I have tried to upload a new background (189kb). Everytime I attempt this I keep getting the whale picture and suggestion to try again later.

Does anyone know if Twitter is permanently over-capacity or if there are quiter times when I might be successful?

All advice and suggestions greatly welcomed.

    Same thing for me ...it's driving me nutz....

    Hope they get that fixed soon...I am not holding my breath , they have enough problems trying to keep message flowing, I don't thing their users cosmetic arrangement are their priority at the moment...

    I have also encountered that several times over the past few weeks. Access comes back pretty quickly, like within a few minutes. But it is still annoying.

    I haven't had it happen over the last couple of days, last week I did have it a few times, it is quite annoying but usually comes back on reasonably fast.

    Twitter is very limited. I don't even think many people click through links on twitter. I haven't figured it out yet. It's good for building back links though becuase google indexes your tweets. I might get back into it for that.
