Hi

Looking for musical warriors, is anyone able to play the guitar, sing a rewritten very famous song and record it to send to me,

Its directly benefitting the Warrior Forum.

If anyone can do this, will design them a minisite for a site of their choice $197 value

Mmm. I might be able to sing it - I usually sing in choirs though. My guitar playing is RUSTY to the point of seized up. I might be able to get a mate for a duet! What's the song/tune?

Doesnt have to be full production, it isnt a hard song, but very well known.

  I play guitar, bass, and a little keys. I use loops for drums. I've been thinking about creating a royalty free music library, so this would give me a chance to get the gear fired up!

If you had asked this 5 years ago, I would have jumped at it. I had a one man studio set up in my basement. Drum machine, synth, multi-track recorder, etc. My buddy and I put out some killer originals with a female friend doing the vocals. I might post 1 or 2 online if anyone wants to hear.

But unfortunately, those days have passed me by. The equipment is in mothballs and I haven't heard from my buddy in years.

So why am I telling you this if I can't help you? Just to toot my own horn a little. I'm still proud of what we created. But I've gone in a different direction. Sorry.

I'm game... send me the lyrics and the tune (if its the subject, I have that pretty easy)... I can put something quick together. If it works, great... if not, no problems.

Depends what the song is and in what key. You can check my sig file for songs I've written and sang.

I can't but my brother can. He's just about king of the ring here in South Wales. He's out several times a week, booked up to a year in advance and (obviously) very popular.

I'm not sure if he will be interested, but if you still need material, please pm me with the details of how you want the recordings made and I'll speak to him.

Perhaps I'll make a Warrior of him yet!

I'm a musician by trade... I play 4 - 5 gigs a week around the buzzing London music scene and I have played session musician for Jocelyn Brown, Gabrielle, Daniel Bedingfield etc and I am really up for having a crack at what you are talking about here.

  I can chord along with my harp [like a guitar] while singing. I'm currently working on Christmas and St. Paddy's Day songs - but have also been known to sing Country songs such as: Good Old Mountain Dew, Ghost Riders In the Sky, Country Roads, You Are My Sunshine, etc. [I freaked out another musician last summer in the County Fair with some of these un-harp-like songs!]
  
  Not sure how The Gambler would translate and I totally agree with other posters about legal issues... and I'm not eager to put meself in that kind of situation. But if it's something legal, I can help.
  
  I recorded a couple of songs [harp solos] and can do mp3 for you if you like.
