I think we would be naive to believe that only one planet on this universe has life on it. The world space agencies are spending billions to find out. The are galaxies out there that will never be explored in our life time but it was only 100 years ago that man started flying so the possibilities are endless - agree?

I guess the question is if it is physically possible for humans (or other beings) to travel to other galaxies where planets may yield life.

  Other galaxies? We most likely don't need to leave this one.
  
  The trick is the energy needed to achieve super-luminal velocities, or the technology to do something very sci-fi, like warp speed or wormholes. 3 years? 3 millennia? Never? Who knows?
  
  Regardless, most of us are unlikely to reach the pebble in the sky, much less travel the currents of space, or explore the shores along which lay the stars, like dust...

I think the Chinese have already said they know what it was, but can't comment. My guess is that the PLA were testing something but, given that the military generally don't test stuff over a civilian airport, the "something" went awry...and, judging from what's happening at 0.35 mark (which looks like another change in the flight path), the "something" went badly awry.

I agree that it's probably military. But I also believe life from
far away places visits us. Probably come here to avail themselves
of Dunkin Donuts coffee.

I watched the video. The event at the 35 second mark looks a lot
like shockwaves produced transitioning to supersonic speeds. There
could have also been the phenomenon related to an effect caused
when going supersonic and there's sufficient moisture in the air.

Also, I didn't watch the video to the very end, but it kept going
straight and didn't make any crazy vector changes.

It's a missile test. We had one just like the one in the video in California off Long Beach coast a couple years ago. There was widespread news footage and then it was cleared up as indeed a missile test.

Has anyone here seen the footage of Apollo 11? Nasa Clearly has UFO all over the place. Tried to destroy the footage, but people had it recording on their TV's!
