Need Simulation Game Suggestions

Okay folks, I'm looking for some good simulation games that you can
recommend.

I'm particularly looking for a good courtroom simulation game but will be open
to just about anything. Prefer something that I can purchase the CD but an
online download works too.

The more complex, the better. I want something that can really keep me
busy for months and months like OOTPB (if you're familiar with it) Still one
of my favorite games and bought it on a recommendation from somebody
here. Thank you SOOOO much.

But after playing something like 56 seasons LOL, I'm looking to start doing
something else for a while.

So what are your suggestions? And please...no SIMS LOL.

That stuff is just too cheesy for me.

Thanks for your help

** EDIT ** Also looking for games that you use your mind for
and not so much physical dexterity.

I'm too old to be moving at the speed of sound anymore. LOL

Those airplane combat simulation games are a hoot.

I don't play them anymore but I'm thinking about it.

Yeah, but they're too hard. I'm looking for something that's more mental
      power than dexterity.

I'm too old to shoot it out with Messerschmidts. LOL

        LMAO. Nice one, Steven.

I used to work with a guy who was extremely into WW2 board
games. He would have one going on for months at a time. Months.
One day I visited him, and he showed me this thing he had going.
My god, Steven... this guy was hard-core about it.

So, that's a possibility, and it's not about dexterity, etc. Rather
it's all about strategy, tactics, and that sort of thing. The games
he played were based on real battles in WW2 such as the Battle
        of the Bulge, etc.

Other than that, I'm not familiar at all with games.

Ken, the trouble with the board games is that you really need to have
somebody to play against, otherwise you're too tempted to cheat. LOL.

That's why I like games where you play against the computer. I have
CMBB and it's great, and still play it, but like I said, just looking for
something to add to the collection.

          Yeah, I'm a game-o-holic. LOL.

Too tempted to cheat with yourself? lol

I did a search on 'ww2 strategy games', and there's quite a bit
that's available online. There are downloads as well as games
you play online against other people. There's gotta be something
            for you...

            Google

Have you tried any of the Sim City games? They are extremely addicting and you can definitely spend quite a bit of time making your city successful.

Yeah, I have Sim City 4 and have built about a half dozen cities or so, maybe
      more. Lost count.

Just looking for something a little different.

Steven, I like a game called Strategic Conquest. Its like a cross between Risk, Statego and Civilization. Its a Mac only game but I play it on my PC via a MAC emulator.

Delta Tao Software - Strategic Conquest

it has 15 levels of play against the computer with 15 being nearly impossible to beat - though I have done it. Anything under level 10 is too easy to beat. You have to have a clear plan so there is a lot of strategic planning and tactics involved. A great way to spend a few hours at a time IMHO.

Some that I know of are Second Life, which is just like the Sims but not as cheesy and real people play, not some Sims that don't speak English lol. Cities XL, which is a kind of like a more modern version of SimCity, and better graphics. And Supple, which I didn't like very much when I tried it but you might if you're looking for a simulation game.

Hey Steven, have you played RollerCoaster Tycoon where you build theme parks and custom design the rides?

If you like trains, MS train simulator is pretty good.
