Not much because then I'd have to go out and get another job.

Are you saying that you are making money doing the IM route?

I would have plenty of free time because I would no longer have a purpose to live so I would just sit and wait for death to come.

Jk but I would be really upset because I'm really starting to love IM and learning more every day.

If that happens my life is over... Or I would have to pursue something else. Luckily I have a back up plan. :p

Like Tina, not much. I'd have to do some real work. Probably wouldn't get a job though. I'd find something to sell and go out and sell it. (note to self, come up with a series of videos and ebooks on the subject of how to survive without the Internet to sell to Internet addicts.)

Wow- Let's think back to the 1980's - I'd probably being living the simpler friendlier less hurried life we envisioned ahead of us back then. Instead offices have been downsized and we do the work of 2 or 3 people by comparison.

LOL, I'd have plenty of free time and that precludes the 3-4 hours spent daily developing an on line business, which also would not exist.

(Sigh); as a youngster I was an original "Trekee" only we didn't have the name for "Trekee" at that time. We were just kids watching TV.

I remember dreaming and wishing that one day we would have all of this computer technology at our fingertips.... "Be careful what you wish for,it just may happen" ; "Oh, I guess it did"

I would use that time doing business in the offline world - physical businesses.

I would but that would take capital that I don't have, nor do I want to deal with the overhead.

If the internet crashed tomorrow... forever?

I think I would be really pissed off, only because I don't use the internet just for marketing. It my main source of news and entertainment. On top of that my goals of becoming a filmmaker could go up in smoke because I want to use the internet for distribution.

Would be a really sad day.

I would have to help my wife and her candle making business. That would be a serious learning curve.

It's kind of funny because she tells me about all these things related to candles. I should be an expert by now but it goes in one ear and out the other. I have no idea what she is talking about.

On the other hand, when I tell her about I.M. and what I do she looks at my like I'm an alien or something. Come to think of it everyone looks at me like that when I talk about my job. LOL!

At least they look at you like your an alien. When my friends ask what I do they have a million and half questions and then want me to show them how to do it. Depending on my mood I usually show them the most boring part of the job (backlinking) and the conversation usually ends pretty quickly.

My psychic powers tell me they all look at her like that when she talks about candles, too.

You can't be really good at anything without completely losing most people's interest.

I think that most of people will adapt online methods to offline and they'll work(But of course to the successful IMers not the nOObs) , But they'll realize the true value of the internet and how it made things insanely easy .

This is why I think that one should be always working of passive income online & offline , We're not here to become enslaved by the internet as well coz then this becomes a J.O.B !

Without the internet life would really be boring but I guess we should always have a back up plan like what the others mentioned.

We should also think about reinventing ourselves to be more than what we are and where we are now.

I'd probably retire since I don't need the money anymore.

I would miss all the online shopping and games though.

I'd spend more time in the recording studio writing my music.

The stage I am at, i.e with skill set I have picked up already from the forum. I would very quickly move to a different business channel. Maybe mail order, classified ads, product development, copy writing, leafleting, presenting seminars. Time spent on these activities would be the same as I am spending on the internet now.

Business is business, marketing is marketing, whatever the platform, my time is spent analyzing markets not vexing about the box model in CSS.

Prince said the internet is dead. Maybe it is dead for him as he refuses to acknowledge it. That got me thinking about your question. I spend 10-14 hours online daily. Before I got into web design and IM, I used to work a lot with my hands- all kinds of artistic things. I abandoned them because I couldn't make a living that way. However, I have a lot more confidence now, so maybe I would give it another try!

I would have way too much free time. I think I would end up in a mental hospital because in the first few days I would use up my free time suffering from depression as a result of the situation. Then I would go crazy and end up in that hospital I mentioned. I think I'm crazy about the internet.
