A little light relief you may find amusing! :D

Thought I might share this story with you.

I thought it was pretty funny.

In the UK there is a telephone directory service where you dial 118 118 and they will tell you the number you are looking for.

They recently started advertising if you text them ANY question they would send you the answer.

I'd had a couple of glasses of wine and decided it would be amusing to ask them the question "Whats the purpose of life?" Now seeing as that is one of the questions that has eluded physicists forever so far I was curious to see their reply.

They replied "To learn, love and have fun" which was nice.

They then sent a message saying that i could get free answers until midnight. (it was about half 11)

So I asked them "What is the best way to send traffic to my website?"

The reply was "Every day we recieve a few questions like yours, we cant answer."

I had a chuckle, they managed to supply an answer to a question that has puzzled science for years but couldn't tell me how to get traffic! lol

I threw one last question back at them asking them exactly that.

I'm still waiting on a reply!

I don't know if they have operators who physically reply to these questions but if they do, hopefully it cheered the poor soul up who was sitting there counting down the minutes till hometime.

Anyway, back to serious work, hopefully this little story will let you in on my somewhat childish but dry sense of humour, and provide some light relief

Gonna send that traffic one now and see if they've come up with an answer yet!!

I asked which chip shop Elvis would be at today.

They replied 'We don't know it exactly. You can try to call him or give us a location & we'll give you a list of chip shops'

The reply cost me 50p then they sent me a text saying that every question that I send between now and midnight would be free.
