Whatever Happened to ... Monique Harris?

Hi, Warriors. No doubt, many of you heard of Monique Harris. Monique of Sell Your Brainfood and the Paperless Newsletter Publishing fame. Does anybody know where she is now? It has been years and there is no sign of her presence online.

Monique had partnered, in early years, with SiteBuildIt owner Dr. Ken Evoy. She also previously partnered with other marketers.

I remember her because, as a former subscriber of her uber-successful digital newsletter, I could not get enough of her knowledge. She was, in a sense, a trailblazer ... being young, a woman and an African-American in the business.

Just as prominently as she came onto the scene, she seemed to have disappeared. Once, I sent Monique a heartfelt "Happy Birthday" card on June 15th (I'd read it somewhere that it was her birthday) and my own was only 9 days later.

To my surprise, a few weeks later, I received a big package from her Maryland address. It was a copy of her $97 newsletter product. I still have it and refer to it often.

I have thought of her often over the years and hope she is doing well.

    Hello Ina,

Yes, I also remember Monique and was a customer and subscriber. I
read some years ago that she sold her business for quite a bit. 10 mil
is the figure I read, but I don't know who bought it.

Haven't seen her ever since. But I also read, again years ago, that she
was working with other marketers on different projects but more behind
    the scenes.

Thanks, Ken, for keeping me up to date. I wish she would come out of the shadows. I really appreciated her wisdom and online savvy.

Thank goodness it seems she's doing okay. I was actually concerned.

Last I heard from her, she had sold her online business and opened a custom furniture store or something like that (in the DC area, I think), which was her dream.

It's been a couple of years, but she was happy and doing well at the time. I hope that's still true. A classy lady.
