If true, lots of people will rejoice because of Godaddy's alleged treatment of some of it's domain owners when spam complaints arise.

    TL,

HOW DO YOU FIGURE!?!? This won't help those that you claim may rejoice. Domain name registration could be frustrated, etc... What is next? Suing the newspapers because they mention walt disney?

Frankly, I doubt the plaintiff has a case. If the name is allowed, it is allowed. Go Daddy can't validate every submission. And verisign certainly can't. THEY are the ones that REALLY registered it. BESIDES, the plaintiff only CLAIMS that they hold the copyright to ONLY the pictures. That is pretty flimsy and kills any right to sue godaddy. AND, if the plaintiff has ANY case, let him get a subpoena for the relevant records FROM godaddy.

All I'm talking about is people who feel they've been screwed by GD, will be happy if GD suffers at all.

The lawsuit is because of the pictures at the domain and GoDaddy hosting the site and aiding in concealing the identity of the website owner.
