WiNdows 7 dvd codec (Thanks Lawrh)

I need a codec for playing dvd on Windows 7. Anyone know any good ones? My brother in law has a netbook with Windows 7 starter edition on it.

    I don't use Win7 but shouldn't that be built in?
    Anyways, when I ran windows, this always covered all my needs, ffmpeg

    Just noticed it's 32 bit only, should work with a netbook.
