Can anyone help with a domain redirect problem?

Greetings,

I'm new here but thought this would be the best bunch of people to ask about this for Internet Marketing.

I bought a domain on name.com and re-directed it to my main website/hosting account. It works fine.

However, when I set up a product on Click Bank (and was approved) and then tested my hoplink it did not work.

The hoplink does take you to the correct domain name ending with the ?hop= and the page title is correct, however, the webpage itself is not there and there's a 404 Page Not Found.

So, what am I missing? Something with my hosting account I would assume.. not sure what though. Any assistance? You could be a new JV for helping!

(add the http://)
hoplink = affiliate.ecnmywoes.hop.clickbank.net (correct user id)
domain name = economywoes.com
re-directed to = truthisthyself.com/recession2.htm
hosting account is HostGator

er?

Thanks,
Shawn.

Hi Zen, I am not a techie, but I did look at the site, couldn't figure out what was going on just from the info you gave, but just wanted to let you know I tried. Maybe someone with more experience will come along later and be able to help you.

      Don't point/redirect your domain!
In domain name administration change the name servers
to those of Hostgator as per Hostgator FAQ/whatever.

Why? Well some redirects just do not "browse plus
search engines, browsers and users are not keen on redirects.

Hostgator support should tell you the best way to implement
your new domain as a new virtual host and point its access to
      the desired page.
