Question about forum rules and posting free stuff

I understand that blatant promotion isn't allowed in the forums accept on the classified section and the special promotions etc.

BUT...

If you give away a free video With great content ( I mean really good stuff NO sales pitch)

and you list it on your blog...

then you post a a thread giving this away... (with a link to the video ON your blog..) is it against the rules?

What if the video is ON your blog and people have to click to your blog to see it? Is it against the rules then?

Also..is it ok..AFTER the video to say something like "if you like this video...subscribe to my blog for more?

I ask these things because I value this forum and want to make sure I follow the rules completely.

      I think a post like that would still be seen as self promotion.
      Best to give a sort description and link in your sig.

    You can have your sig line on all of your posts, but if you want to sell then you need to go a certain area of the forum. Visit the homepage to see categories for this or upgrade your membership for more priveleges.
