Why so much dislike for the presidential candidates?

I don't find McCain to be that much different.

They certainly were both for the bailout which was a socialistic act in my opinion, in terms if redistributing wealth.

Aside from their political parties and a few issues they are not extreme opposites.

What's wrong with either one of them getting in office?

Even though I think Obama is the better guy, I would not have a problem with McCain at all.

The only person that I have ever questioned was Palin... I still do.

Overall, I think that this is the closest that we have ever come to seeing two descent candidates.

Just my thoughts... what's yours?

I agree with you 100%. Unlike some others that don't like either, I think both are good men.

I probably like McCain more than many of those that are anti-Obama, who are only supporting McCain because of their hatered of Obama.

However, I agree with Obama on more issues...And despite all the cynics, I believe both are good men who only want what is best for the USA...I think a lot of people think it makes them look bigger and cooler the more they bring others down.

Also, no one posted about Obama's grandmother dying. Anyone with a heart has to feel for him, as she died just a day before knowing if her grandson was elected president of the US. And the timing of her death has to take some of the happiness away if Obama does win the election.

I think that because of some of the mysterious hatred towards Obama, there are some people that are actually happy about his grandmother passing.

For some reason people deeply hate Obama. I don't get it. I don't remember people hating Bush as much as people hate Obama.

I guess that's just how it goes.

I too notice the similarities between the candidates.

One reason they both probably get a hard time is cause for many people it wasn't their first choice to represent their party. Another could be that their personal views differ from these somewhat similar candidates views.

The irrational hate for any candidate I have never understood. Also consider that it's the internet where anyone will say anything just to troll or make someone angry. I hope there are very few who actual enjoy the passing of a candidate's relative or whatever.

For the record I have been for Ron Paul all along.
As I stated many times before Obama is only the lesser of two evils.
And in my opinion, McCain is both a liar and evil, as his voting record with bush shows and now the fact that he is against bush policies . It was only in the last few days that I saw McCain change tactics and then it was him parrotting what Obama was saying.

"Why so much dislike for the presidential candidates?"

Because every four years the SAME characters show up, only the faces change! In four more years the same, four more years the same and on, and on, and on...

Because if you tell the truth you WILL NOT get elected.

My name is Clyde Dennis, and mark my words TODAY. No matter who wins today's election, (Obama) in four years we're going to be ready to run them out of town!

Why so much dislike for the presidential candidates? Because that's what WE do.
