I don't think that McCain stands a chance at this point...

I predict a big victory for Obama.

What's your prediction?

I predict McCain by a slim majority of electoral votes, with Obama winning the popular vote. John Kerry was leading in the polls four years ago with numbers almost identical to Obama's.

Of course, I could be entirely wrong. I don't trust the polls no matter who they say is ahead.

I agree that this is a likely outcome. Polls are not as accurate as many people seem to think.

Also, I heard that Michael Reagan recently began advising McCain on campaign strategy. That guy knows how to win elections. So if McCain wins, it might be partly due to the fact that he has been doing some of the same things that helped Ronald Reagan get elected.

My prediction is that we are pretty muchly toast no matter which one of these nut jobs gets the foot in the door. Keep a rope in the raft to hang on to, it's gettin' to be a rough ride. Take LOTS of soap in the showers with you, too.

Obama will win. McCain still has a very slim chance... that of course if he doesn't get another heart attack before the polls close.

I can make a solid, 100% guaranteed prediction...

The person I voted for will not win the presidency (and, yes, I did vote today).

Yes, but it was the hardest vote I ever made. In the past I have voted for democrats, republicans, and 3rd party candidates. In fact, I did that today, too.

Neither of the front-runners earned my vote, so they don't get it. Even though I think the party I voted for could have had a stronger candidate, I believe in their principles more, so that's the way I voted.

Anyway, everyone else on the ballot was easy for me to decide. But when it came to the president it took me quite a while before I made my final choice.

I'm friends with some guys pretty far up in the GOP. One in NYC area and one in NV and both concede that Obama will win.
My Dem friends in politics are concerned about fraud and rigged ballot boxes but they are also confident in a Dem victory today. Not just the the White House but also Congress and State level Governor races.

I went to vote this morning at 6:10. I had to leave because the line was wrapped around the building. That is a first for me. This is good for Obama!!

Obama will probably win but really nothing will change...Too many checks and balances in the House and Senate for one man to make a difference.

But Bush gave himself -as President - the powers of a dictator. Unless Obama gets rid of all that legislation HE will now have that power, should he ever have need of it.

I couldn't be more happier than I am now. This country desperately needs change and I suspect Obama is the one to help.
