We've posted about them here a few times over the last year.
One that was for longer trips and similar to a mini-van has an onboard compressor and two air tanks. When the pressure gets low a gas motor kicks on to power the car and run the compressor. It gets something like 800 miles to a litre of gas.

      Dual air tanks.
One runs low, the valve shifts to the second one while the compressor fills the first.

        To really simplify it.
All you need to do is find out how much pressure is required to force the piston down and then replace the gas and spark plug with a shot of compressed air.

If it was for converting vey small cars, such as Honda Civics and Suzuki's it might fly, but anything bigger than that, I doubt it.

Then again I may be wrong. People may just buy it for the info and never use it. That happens a lot...might be worth throwing out there.

... look at Water4Gas, which was so hot for a few months - it made fortunes for people! I have not tried Water4Gas nor have I tried to convert my car to run on water (or AIR for that matter) but it seems like you would use MORE energy than create hence making the conversion useless...

The same is happening with Earth4Energy - people are buying like crazy.
"Build a solar panel under $200 to power up your house" - it is simply impossible to have enough sufficient solar panels for under $200 - people still buy this like crazy!

In fact Air4Gas could be a hot seller
