Boxing all time great Floyd "Money" Mayweather seems to be in the fight of his life.

He's facing over 30 years for multiple felony charges emanating from a encounter with a former girlfriend and mother of some of his children.

Floyd was hit Thursday with three more felony charges in a domestic violence case that already had him facing a theft charge.

Clark County District Attorney David Roger raised the ante in the case alleging that Mayweather hit and threatened the life of his ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris, and threatened to beat two of their children during a pre-dawn argument at the woman's home a week ago.

Of course Mayweather has denied all charges.

Mayweather ruffles a lot of feathers with his arrogant & abrasive antics but I think most of it is his marketing strategy.

It's a shame that we may never get to see Mayweather against the Philippine jaugernut Manny
Pacquiao.

Floyd has recently apologized for insensitive remarks regarding Manny.

I wonder what happens if the woman drops all charges.

Will the state of Nevada persist with the charges??

We'll see what happens.

The thing to remember is it's Nevada (Las Vegas). And I can tell you without hesitation that the boxing crowd is the most valuable group of people Las Vegas gets, bar none.

Boxing fans are high rollers, like no other and Mayweather is boxing's biggest draw.

My point being, the casinos run Vegas, if there's anyway to get the charges against Floyd dropped, they will. There's no way the LV casinos will let their biggest meal ticket spend 30 years in a Nevada prison...Not at least until Floyd retires.

I predict he'll be fighting for a while...I doubt http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kirk_Kerkorian will let FLoyd go to prison...

I'd pay to see Mayweather against Manny Pacquiao!

December 11 at Las vegas Amir Khan v Marco Maidana for the world light-welter title, should be a great match up.

Maidana is the guy who beat Victor Ortiz, it's one where Ortiz did a Duran 'no mas' and didn't want to carry on. I still respect Victor Ortiz though, he is great fighter and he will come back. If he uses his boxing skills he can beat Maidana in a rematch.

I agree Manny would win the fight but at least he would give him a contest. Look what Manny did to Cotto who was supposed to be bigger.
