What would you guess this is an image of? (A rural gravel road maybe?)

NOPE!!

This is a Louisiana waterway, and it's full of a mishmash of species of dead fish, crabs, stingray and eel!

There's already a campaign underway to say that this is NOT caused by the BP oil - spill, but by lack of oxygen, and global warming.

So what's your theory as to why they don't show this on the news?

"So what's your theory as to why they don't show this on the news? "

Because its not some nobody actor or actress getting busted with frugs or being caught cheating with their partner or blah blah blah.

In other words because it is really news of substance?

That is horrible. We need to wake up and save our planet before it's too late.

Yukon is right, I found it here:

But what do you think of the reasoning? Do you believe it? When I was younger, I lived near the coast for years, and have seen mass fish kills because of low tide. But no where near the scale of this one.

Seems it should be fairly easy for scientists to find out. But I
    don't know.

One thing I thought about was all that crap they dumped in the gulf
to disperse the oil or whatever it was. It's highly toxic.

Whatever it is, I would suspect it being oil spill related. Of course
the dunderheds are already spinning it. They suck.

Not only this pictures, but also the frequent earthquakes warning us if we don't protect the environment, the earth will be destroyed by ourselves sooner or later.

By the time authorities realize the damage been done, culprits will not live to tell the story.

    Now or never. shocking ha....

If that is LA - then I would think that the "lack of oxygen" is NOT from warming, but from the dispersant used by BP. I did some look up on that stuff and it's some of the most vile nasty stuff ever made. Puts Monsanto to shame.
It is an illegal substance because of its toxicity and BP was told "no way, no how, not now, not ever" and they did it anyway and that is one of the reasons so much was so hush hush about the spill.

There has been a recent fish die off of the same nature somewhere along the east coast - New Jersey or Maryland or somewhere around there. This planet's water is so freaking polluted any more it's hard to put a finger on what the cause is. For every scientist that can tell us the truth, there are 3 that will use it to push a money making agenda for the gov or UN or someone on top that wants bucks. All the cap and trade on the planet won't solve one damned thing - it's just that there will be money resourced from pollution. If you are rich you will be able to continue to pollute like crazy.

There may be nothing we can do about this type of thing, too - there are volcanoes going off under water in places and I'm sure that those gases in the water aren't any more healthy for marine life then they are for someone living by a terrestrial volcano breathing it in. Another possibility - there was another spill over by Africa somewhere when the gulf spill was going on that didn't get any attention - did something catch a current and what we are seeing on our East coast a result of that mess?

There are too many possibilities of what is going on here -- I want to see what scientists who are not affiliated with or funded by the UN, IPCC, or the US gov have to say about it before I believe one word of anything.
