Ok a little piece of advice for the next time bud. When ever you are going to sign up and join a safe list you are going to get a ton of emails every single day. There for you are better off at this point either leaving that account alone and let it become spam central and set up a new email. You should have used a different email then your main email for any safe list. Although you are better off at this point weeding out the good mails and getting the rest sent to your spam folder. Otherwise you will be having to deal with this every single day until you give up on the email address all together.

Here's the easiest way to delete EVERYTHING - create a rule that moves everything to your spam folder addressed to the email address. Next tick the box that says include the rule on your current inbox. That should move everything to the spam folder. You can empty your spam folder then. Remember to go back and undo the rule otherwise everything will go into your spam box.
Suggest next time you sign up for stuff you add +1 on the end of your email address, like joebloggs+1@gmail.com. You'll still get the email but you can easily set-up a rule to move all +1 onto a label therefore freeing your inbox.

  • Another method you could try, if you just want to delete everything, is to use the iMacros addon for firefox, and set it to keep selecting all, delete, selecting all, delete, etc.

I'd just use a desktop email client to download all the headers, then I'd do a CTRL+A, and then click Delete. Ta-Da!

When I go into gmail and check all on the first page, there's a link to the right to delete everything in your inbox.

You get IMAP access with Gmail. I have my Gmail configured with my Mac's Mail email client. You can configure Gmail with most email clients like Outlook, Thunderbird, etc. Then it's really easy.

Using Apple's Mail client I just do control all and it will delete them all. Same deal if you're using Outlook or whatever. That way you could delete all 10K emails in one swoop.

Just go to "settings" and they'll walk you through the configuration.

At top and after the phrase "All XX conversations on this page are selected.". There should be a link to select all conversations in Inbox.

If you still don't see it, check the attached image
