Do you have any good advice or tips you want to share about anything?

Here's the best poker advice you'll ever get. It is simple to do and will make (save!!!) you more money than any one other thing...

This is my own tip, not "stolen" from other sites. I'm celebrating my 14th anniversary of my first site, which included gambling tips, and the following is based on my own creation, not copied.

In Hold 'em, experts correctly tell you not to watch the flop, but watch the other players watching the flop.

Good players look at the other players to see of they can pick up a tell or a read as they first peek at their cards. They know they can wait 2-3 seconds to see their own cards and aren't in a hurry, so they look for additional info in reactions of the other players.

These guys and gals are looking for reads..Does another player look at their chips? A possible tell that they are strong and going to raise. Fold a weak hand.

Anyway, that's the advice given in the books and it is correct. But they are missing the bigger tell.

At first, don't look for tells about their cards, just the mere fact that they are looking at the other players is THE tell we are looking for.

If you are observing a poker table with 10 players, how many of them are watching the other players during the flop?

Who are they? If they are watching other players, you can bet they are skilled poker players. You instantly know who to watch out for.

The next step, are they aware that you are aware? In poker, this is called "psychological levels".

If they don't know you know, you can give fake tells. If they do know you saw them looking at other players, they will be more inclined not to believe everything you do.

What can you figure out from a table just from seeing who reads players first and not the tell:

1. How good the competition is. This is the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF WINNING POKER. You are only as good or bad as the other players at the table. Picking a good table is just like doing keyword research and picking a good niche based on weak competition.

If you are at a table with 4+ people reading players instead of the flop, there's ZERO, nada, zilch, zip money to be made, no matter how good you think you are. Table rake, plus dealer and cocktail tips and competitor skill make this too tough for even the best players.

2. Who the best players are. You instantly have a gauge to tell the players good enough to be at the skill level and have the discipline to what you, instead of their own cards.

3. Where to sit at the table. Hold em is all about position. You always to sit to the left of the best player(s), so he or she plays first and you can base you decisions using that info.

4. You are also aware of how real poker players think and can protect your own reads and tells better.

You don't even have to be a poker player to use this tell. If you're ever at a casino with a poker room, spend a minute and see for yourself And you can ID the best players better and faster than 90% of the "expert" players.

And it can't be faked or bluffed. It can only hidden with sunglasses, but that itself is a tell, but them in the "looking at others" club.

Best table, best place to sit, best players all from one simple tell.

Thanks for listening while I reminisce, and this is a valuable poker tip for any and all holdem players that play live games.

Your turn for a tip...

This is not really a tip, more a recommendation. If you have had, or anyone you know has had, frustrations learning mathematics, I would encourage you to go to this website. This guy is the best teacher of mathematics I have ever seen.

Just click on the very first video on Equations, and I guarantee you will begin to understand. There over 1200 videos on the site including: maths , chemistry, physics and economics.
