I have tons of old newspaper clippings and other crazy ideas like these I've been collecting over the years. All are in the public domain because they are so old. Some of these "old" ideas could be very useful today. Do you think people would pay a monthly fee to access stuff like this in a membership site?

Interesting, but not membership material. That doesn't mean it can't be a profitable hobby though. Build up enough interest and fans (traffic) and you're talking solid advertising fees and maybe more.

I knew the guy who started "jumptheshark.com" about tv shows that have run it's course. I nice little hobby that got some good press and build a nice following.
Anyway TV GUIDE got interested and bought it off him for well into six figures.

I used to collect those Weekly World News/Enquirer headlines "Boy Eats Own Head"...."Preacher Explodes on Pulpit".....gotta love it! :-)

Hmmm advertising revenue might be a good idea. What, like adsense? Could I really make decent money with that? I heard that adsense doesn't pay like it used to. Any other monetization strategies?
