I just saw this on Yahoo News! And felt I should share it with folks here. I think Facebook is really taking us to where we don't know.

    In recent years, many of us have chosen to give up our privacy for various conveniences. It's not surprising that others think of ways to monetize our neglect.

    Computer apps, facebook apps, twitter apps, smart phone apps - many of those transmit your personal info to advertising sites. It's in the TOS - that TOS you don't read. If you don't agree to the TOS, you can't have the app so many of us automatically click the "I agree" box.

    Some info sharing has gone on since the beginning of junk mail. The one that turns my blood cold is the GPS function. Why do others need to know exactly where we are at any given time? It's gone too far.
