Hey guys, I'm not sure how but I just stumbled on Warrior Forum OLD SCHOOL.
The Warrior Forum <<OLD SCHOOL WF

Amazing how much change has gone into this place huh?

It's like a time machine of internet marketing knowledge.

I found this post too...crazy, I think it's the first ever mention of the War Room!
The Warrior Forum - Warrior Private Forum Access...

I figured I'd share, thought all of that was pretty cool.

Definitely a big increase in activity that's for sure!

I wonder what version of Vbulletin that is, doesn't look as good as the current theme. Or, is it Vbulletin?

No,it isnt vbulletin, this is the only version of the forum using vbulletin. I can't remember for sure, but there was at least one version and I am thinking two,of the forum before the one you linked to. I think one was powered by something called uni-sol?

Those day, the Warrior Forum was only a chat, but the Allen added some great function, like blog etc. which made the site Web 2.0 property. This was must have for Warrior Forum.

That forum was a Snitz Forum - a forum package I have not seen in a while.

And if I recall, it was on a Windows server... not too sure though.

The old Uni Sol forum - here's what it looks like (thanks to the Wayback Machine) from early 2002:

Not sure of the software being used there.

Now that does not even look like a forum. But hey, I'm only 22 :p I wasn't even a teenager back then.

Those threaded style forums were all the rage back then. I used to install them for people...back before scripts had self-installers

When scripts started moving away from Perl and PHP got popular, I used to get upwards of $150 per install. Self-installed scripts (among other things) drove the price of an install to around $15 to $20...so I got out of that business.

LOL - here's a thread from early 02 of Paul Myers talking about spammers and some techno-babble:

      Mike,

It's always babble of some sort, eh?

You're right. The one prior to this was a Snitz forum, on a Windoze server. The one at Uni-Sol was, I believe, a custom job that Joshua Brown set up. The next room over from us on Uni-Sol was a spammer forum run by a guy named Charlie Brown. Don't know if they were related.

The Uni-Sol forum was a royal pain to moderate.
