Aliens will defeat us

There have been a few threads about planets found like earth, the existence of aliens etc.

The statistical odds of alien life and numbers have been roughly figured out. I recently read that there may be billions of habitable planets just in the Milky Way Galaxy.

I believe intelligent AI enabled machines will outnumber humans within 20 years. They will all be network enabled and will all have access to greater than human intelligence even by 2030.

By that stage even if a catastrophic war were to eliminate all natural biological life - civilization from this planet & artificial life could continue.

Anyway by 2040 the solar system will be inhabited by robots. They will not be Chinese or American - They will be robot.

So we will definitely conquer the solar system with our civilization. But at some point we will be conquered or destroyed by aliens. The odds are against civilization from this planet expanding to dominate the galaxy or even a large portion of it. The odds are hugely and immensely against our survival on a cosmic scale.

This is based upon the probability of alien life. The probability is that we will be nipped in the bud if we wish to physically expand beyond our own star system to others.

But perhaps such a physical expansion is not required.
