Has anyone signed up with Web Weaver Elite and are having problems accessing their sites? I signed up and I'm having problems now and I don't know who to contact!

I'll refrain from venting, but honestly ask for help from warriors who have information.

Thank you

I would never use anything like that for offline marketing.

You want full control over your domain and hosting for your customers so if anything goes wrong you can move it straight away.

It also looks like its a start up.

Thanks Quentin - alas, I did go with them as I feel my biggest weakness as a NOOB is website creation - but I like SEO, this seems to be an area I'm good at.

You can always outsource the website creation, and have them load the site onto YOUR hosting account (or the customer's) and make sure you have full control over the account. That way if the web designer walks, you can always bring in another one.

There are lots of us right here in the WF that would be happy to design websites for you under those conditions.

I had never heard for this company, but it's rather interesting that for their own website... they use WordPress.

    George,
Let me in on the secret - how can you tell it was built using WordPress - I don't see a tell tale.
Sure I go back and I see it immediate - use view page info not view page source - neat. I had a good day, I learned something new. Where's the smile?

I been battling with WWE and often got frustrated with their support and software. If anyone is having similar issues let me know and how you got around them. I'd love to network with you. But other than that I got lot of benefits from the program and understand more how to do local marketing.

    winnielee,
I would have to say ditto what you've said both positively and negatively.
I was on their webinar last night and it appears that they have some good projects tools coming out which is great - but their customer support is lacking and I've had to wait days all the way up to a couple weeks to get resolution when I've had technical difficulties. I hope they'll get this straigthened out and quicker resolution times.

I was on that webinar too and you probably heard my name several times as I keep asking Tony Qs. I'm actually getting very frustrated with their tools that I'm considering quitting once I figured out how to transferred my site off their hosting. I'll PM you.

I am considering getting the program. In view of the past problems, would you still recommend the program or is there something better. Keep in mind that I am a beginner.

I wouldn't sign up with them. As others have mentioned, you can find cheap or free help for SEO and web design. Plus their themes are purchased from woothemes.com and they recently had a security vulnerability. Their business appears shady since you have no control over your domain and website.

I was in WW for about 9 months and got out due to poor customer and technical service.
I repeatedly ask for help and same old story that they fixed it which was a lie. I don't think its worth 9 bucks a month, although I have worse hosting cos.
If you want to look at the site. let me know @zippystan.com

Hello C97...my count is too low for a PM. Were you using their solution for client sites and also, did the sites rank well?

    Update....And it ain't good.

WWE (Web Weaver Elite) released a product called Instant Local Sites the early part of this year and in theory it was pretty good for local marketers.

You paid for access to their program and you could pick from about 10 niches and have a pretty nice looking, mobile responsive wordpress site that was easy and quick to put up.

You only got dashboard access to your site so hosting the complete site (content. images, plugins) had to be with them for $20 per site, per month. Yeah I know I didn't like that part either, but...the potential to sell the sites looked promising so I decided to see how it would work.

From the very start of when I built the first site I noticed extremely slow site load times and times when my sites wouldn't load at all. I submitted ticket after ticket and a guy that handles their tickets (named Paul) told me that they had gotten pounded by heartbleed and some other virus. But that didn't explain why my sites were slow well before we heard of heartbleed..and are still slow while none of my other hosting providers are suffering the same fate.

In conclusion, they haven't stopped billing me monthly even though the sites are useless and I can't demo them for potential clients because it makes me look highly unprofessional trying to sell something that loads slow or may not load at all. I even bought and used one of their marketing themes as my main business site and that url is on my business cards that I hand out to potential customers. The site at this point is either loading slow or not loading at all.

Although I should not be surprised but Jeff Herschy keeps pounding away at my email with new products for sale but has yet to address the issue with this product in an email to put our minds at ease. The only response you will get is if you submit a ticket. But that will not change a thing.

I did a little research and believe they bought the rights to use the theme from these guys. MoLo Media | Live Demo Websites . I really wish I could have bought the themes directly from the source and saved myself some money and headache.

I would not recommend doing business with Web Weaver Elite, Instant Local Sites, or any product affiliated with them if this is the experience you have to look forward to.

Read latest update. They fixed the issue and actually won my trust back. I am impressed.

No. And I am not encouraging anyone to try either I just mentioned it as a side note to show that the potential developers (or someone with identical themes) are not having issues with their hosting but WWE continuously has them. Did I mention the price to gain access to these themes is $397 and you are charged $20 per month per site to host. Yes I feel a little like I have been had by the Hersch.

UPDATE: 4/25 In all fairness I must give these guys credit. They stuck this one out and hammered away and got this issue fixed...completely. Maybe it just took a guy like me relentlessly bitching to get it done but they did it and they get major props for that.
