Yeh - a funny story - My friend is really impressed with the WF. I Skyped him the other day and I said, 'Yeh, wow, WF is super powerful - we raised $7000 for a fellow Warrior in need in under a week!'

Then I remembered Allen gave $5000 of it - so I had to write back and tell the truth - the forum OWNER is totally generous - but still $2000 is better than no response or a kick in the butt! :p and now up to $3000! (total $8000)!

SEE 'THE GLASS IS HALF FULL NOT HALF EMPTY'

(not to mention 'it's the thought that counts')

At this point we get the billboard,but I was informed yesterday that we are not a shoe-in for it, as the fund raising goes on till December 16th even the the walk is this Sunday.

Ha Ha Andie. The grandbaby will be in the pic along with my wife,daughter and her boyfriend,stepdaughter and her husband (the baby is theirs) My dialysis nurse and his wife and daughter.
That is basically who my team consists of except for the Wonderful Warriors who have (or will) contribute!
And of course Killer Joe's killer logo which now has The Warrior Forum logo incorporated into it!

Dave, I HATE cold weather and yes,they are calling for chilly tomorrow.After the walk they are having a blues and BBQ (and beer ,which I can't drink) event though,so that should warm a lot of folks up.

Morning coke? blah! When I was able to drink soft drinks I was a Dr Pepper fan.
But I would have to drink what came close to the real stuff which is found here not that slop that is made with hfcp. They claim people can't tell the difference,but I'd bet money giving me the two versions I could tell the real stuff.
Recently we have found in our local grocery store some Dr Pepper with "made with real sugar" on the label. My wife, who never liked Dr Pepper tried some and says it tastes nowhere near the stuff with the hfcs.
That being said, technicALLY THE ONLY "DARK" cola I am suppose to drink is root beer. I can drink all the "light coloas" I want, like Sprite,7-Up,Ginger Ale, etc etc.
Go figure.

UGH...my mom likes DP but I never grew a taste for it, or root beer. Never understood the coffee thing folks have either...

I was a way unhappy camper when they pulled the New Coke crap and took my Classic away for awhile

It is pretty much my only 'soda'...my wake up call

Anyone in my world knows they are in for bigtime trouble if I have no coke for the next morning LOL!

Well, that should help you folks walk sure enough.

I am scrambling for things to make me drink more water and yesterday I discovered Trader Joe's has some great Lime flavored Sparkling Mineral water.

This is a whole lot more healthy than any kind of 'soft drink' - and it actually tastes close to 7up or Mountain Dew without the sweet. There is no sugar or syrups - just water and lime.

Other than not enough water I think what caused my kidney stones was an overdose of Vitamin D -

I was just taking stock of what I take in Vitamins and found that in addition to the 2000 IU of D3 I take, that there is D hidden in several other things I am taking.

So I am going to scatter it over the day rather than stand there and swallow 10 pills at once.

In less than 24 hours the walk will be over, but not the fundraising,that goes on tilll December,that being said, I just noticed "zero" donations since the 2nd of November, so, come on folks, cough up a few more $5 or$10 donations,please!

On the other thread I offered to give a free seo campaign to anyone who donated $250 to the walk. Sadly only one person took me up on it. So how about we say anyone who donates $150 will get a free campaign. Basically after you donate the money you will need to PM to let me know you have done so. Make sure to send me the url to your site as well.
