This big furry creature loves it when I sit at my desk...
he is the one cat that is content to be petted, scratched for EVER

but he is rather awkward to have to type 'around' and inevitably plants himself between me and the keyboard..

*sigh* the price of love...

    Cool cat!I've had cat's since I was about 9 and every single one has been jet black.My cat at the moment is called skibadee (or skibbs for short) I named him after my favorite drum and bass mc.

    I have three cats. One of them, Sophie, is the same as yours. She
    gets on my desk and sleeps between me and the monitor. lol. She
    stretches out and sleeps.

    Or, she'll lay on my lap and sleep while I type. If I give her a couple
    nudges to move, she gets mad and doesn't move. lol

    I've got a total of five cats (yeah yeah crazy ole cat lady)
    Only one of them ever wants to be a lap cat and that's the older tuxedo cat, and only every once and a while when HE decides.
