HELP: Need a good Ad Tracker software

Hi guys does anyone know about a good Ad tracker that will give me the actual website someone was on when they clicked my URL tracking link? Thanks Kevin

    Google Analytics is great!
    However, sometimes it doesn't work that great for me because I frequently don't have control over all the pages in the process and therefore can't load my google analytics code on those pages. So if all you want is to know the website that someone was one before they clicked your link, then you just need to add code to your landing page (the tracking link) to record what is called the HTTP_REFERER that will show you *most of the time* the page they were on before hitting the page you added the code to.

    Of course there are many service providers out there that will do this for you, but the quality ones you have to pay for. I prefer to just add it to my own code and record it in my own database. You can use MySQL and there will be no costs involved and you can do some really advanced analytics yourself that way. The caveat is...you have to have some basic programming skills.

      Sandy, do you know if the packages show the referring url's or does it just show the "hits" on a link with out any extra details?
