I just got this in my email:

"Facebook Service. Your password has been changed ID165"

This is a post notification!

A spam is sent from your Facebook account.
Your password has been changed for safety.

Information regarding your account and a new password is attached to the letter.
Read this information thoroughly and change the password to complicated one.

Thank you for your attention,
Facebook Service.
Ah yes, the hallmarks of a "nasty".

Attached document - check
Poor grammar - check

Did I get fooled by it. Nope, mainly because I don't even have a Facebook account - LOL.

Anyways, if any of you FB accounts, do not, I repeat, do not open the attachment.

I have no idea what it does, but it will not be pleasant.

So that blind people can hate them as well.

I've had my little Nortons pop-up come up a couple of times today saying they stopped a trojan virus in an email, so I'm guessing it was possibly the FB emails.

I have received about 25 of these in the last few days. I have also received 30 or so "Your package is ready for collection from DHL". How do I stop them if the addresses are spoofed?

Yeah I've been winning a lot lately too and having lots of money left to me in people's wills.

I have had a heap of those Facebook emails come through today - I didn't open any, figured they were a scam.

I received that email also. Since you had already trashed it, I decided to run the scan. Virus detected by Norton.

I notice that I don't get these email to my email account that I don't do any type of online business from. It is obviously IM related. I only get these emails to the accounts that I may submit to a mailing list every now and then, I have registered for my domain with, or for forums. The email I use for school and purchases seem to be unscathed.
