Maybe we could talk about how we bagged OURSELVES and let people look over our shoulder and show them how we copied our own reports word for word... or how we forced ourselves into JVing withourselves!

Edit: I guess Rob, we could even muscle some people and show em how its done... maybe even THIS guy!

I think its so hilarious how people can do that and get away with it.

So I am not worried about it. But isnt this funny how people (Im laughing out loud right now), are actually bold enough to tell you that to your face because IM has become so desensitized to these things, thats its almost acceptable just to openly say "Im gonna re write someone elses stuff, because Im too lame to be original", and then applaud themselves for putting out such great works?

Lol. Maybe its the original songwriter in me, but I will just never get used to that idea I guess, of being a copy cat.

There is deffinatley a huge lack of originality these days. Its much easier to steel and recreate than it is to innovate.

Thats why the true innovater will always take the cake.....innovators pave the way and everyone else is just poised to react instead of acting for themselves. Suckers.

Lol. If you only knew... not being a big drinker, I have had a big bottle of Merlow in the fridge for months now, and just broke it out the other night and start to finish I did myself in with it... honestly I must say it really was good for me believe it or not and it was good for my wife to laugh her butt off at my lightweight self all night... as I played the guitar and sang to her... I dont know what it looked like on the outside, but on MY end, it was a pretty cool concerto. For a moment I knew what it was like to be "The king of Rock N Roll". I gave myself a standing ovation, shortly before the toilet hugging ceremony began.... AH THE LOVE!

TECHNICALLY it IS legal to rewrite it, BUT, there is a MAJOR problem! If he copies an original idea, the look/feel, original graphics, or some original aspect, he has violated the copywrite! If he changes the order, or even a SINGLE word, he may change the meaning and make it WORTHLESS! So, if he doesn't know the subject, he is trying to walk a highwire! Of course, if he knows the subject, he doesn't have to copy!

Have you hugged your toilet lately?

Not even. I was sotted in college. Now? I bought a bottle of Asti, which is my favorite, a week and a half before my birthday because it was on sale, and didn't open it until my birthday -- even then I shared the one bottle instead of downing several on my own like I did back in the school days. I can actually feel one full glass of it now.

I might start drinking very heavily again soon though. I just feel so dejected that even after years here I'm not getting the wonderful JV offers that you are getting. It's just not fair. Guess I should get into IM niches so I can get the good deals, too -- that or finish up the porn I started in the copy writers forum. heavy sigh.

Lol. I dont get flooded with JV's nearly as much as I do people wanting to copy... Maybe Im missing the boat but I dont usually pay attention to them when they com around anyway... too busy doing my own stuff. I had a JV recently with someone HUGE, and I think my portion of the profit was like 300.00 , hell I spent that much on the promotional material to create a presentation for them and putting the affiliate program together.

I would rather just make my own money. Maybe Im missing something.

Yeah the porn stuff was entrancing... include a 900 number with that copy and you are good to go!!! Have you ever checked out the the search volume on "adult (or "erotic") stories"...? Amazing. Someone who can write that stuff should easily be a millionaire.

LOL - that was it. I could write porn if money was the only object -- but right now I'm writing a book and really don't need that kind of trash backlashing on me later on.

As far as JV -- I'm just kidding around in here. I can't survive without my partners - and split % on anything I do that goes on one of my websites because I'm a techno-moron. Period. I plan on probably staying one, too because I'm busy writing and don't feel the need or will to stop doing what I do to learn how to wield a website. I like making products, tending to my site members, etc. and have had great fortune in having honest and wonderful partners. I do writing on my own, too, so I'm fairly set. What I don't like is having to market my stuff. I hate marketing. I really hate it. I do it when I have time, but I will never enjoy it. Oh well - such is life eh?

I am just a guy though who is sharing his experience on the forum that has blessed him so much... no interest in being a "guru"... just helping people with what Im good at. I dont see report writing as a sustainable business model, because , if you have read "the peter principle" everyman eventually reaches his ultimate level of incompetence... and when it becomes obvious that you have done that, the only thing left to do is "copy", and eventually people catch onto that and start asking "how many things could this guy actually be an expert at..." and you lose credibility.

Once again, if the popular opinion is correct, then I am missing something.

I make decent money on a report generally... but it only lasts for a couple of weeks... better to make money doing what you are writing about IMHO.

Maybe I just havent come to my report writing epiphany yet though.

Its definately a way to make more money than ZILCH though for a couple of weeks... til someone copies it and posts it on a share forum, and the whole world starts getting it for free by the hundreds.

Thats just been my experience.

People follow whatever glitters... sombody comes along and waters down the truth and they all stop appreciating you and move on to the next shiny thing.

Better to put your hopes in the person you ARE, than the person (Guru) others percieve you as... because that doesnt last forever, only till the next star comes around. Even if you actually DID help them succeed and change their life.

People are fickle.

You are beautiful in everyway that you are Sal, your posts have been a lifesaver to me at times. I wouldnt change a thing either if I were you. Then who would save all these lives with their no doubt "divinely Inspired" writings? Some are "meant" to write I believe. Any random thing you say could be meaningless babble to you and make all the difference in the world to someone else. Sometimes you only think you are moved to rant, but truly you are being moved by the divine. Thats why I just let it go whenever it comes and intellectualize later.

Even these very posts could be lifechanging for someone. Who knows? We are just the vessells of something greater.

Ps. "If " we allow ourselves to be. I will never be a full fledged Guru, because Im to into speaking my heart even if it tarnishes my guru staus... I let people be inspired by my hardships as much as my successes. May not make me the guy with the million dollar facade, but it makes me the guy that really touches a person where they are at, and helps them to see that their chances for success are good too... "If I can do it anyone can".

You're right on point, John.

It makes me do the RCA dog head tilt when I see something like what this guy did to you. I can't get my head around what a brain that is so vapid is like being inside of.

Sure, we all make a dent in our own way - and having an imagination and class goes much further than a few greenbacks. But, don't be so noble that you forget that having a real brain is supposed to be fun.

These types are a lot of fun to play with.

Why doncha release your part of the report - like tomorrow - for some insane low price.........and just state simply and honestly what the low price is for........"In honor of the tweek who tried to extort me to release this in a JV under threat of just re-writing it himself, you now can have this report at the low low ass-kicking, crime-stopping price of ........" You might lose some money on it but look who has to go and actually make a product of his own. Sometimes the loss of a few extra bucks is worth a little bit of fun.

Here's an idea for you John ... tell the guy to go ahead and rewrite your stuff. You'll be the first customer. Then you'll rewrite his rewrites and give it away.
