I think men are far worse than women at this but any proposals or too honest appraisals of the boss?

I stood up and sang "Flower of Scotland" at a crowded pipe band gathering after more than a few glasses of red wine. Must have done okay because even my hubby told me it was good, and I was asked to do it again. Never have, though...

I went out by myself to a rock club last night, got "blathered" exclusively off triple black Sambuca shots and was falling about all over the place (still hungover - blurgh).

Apparently I stumbled into some metal railings, then approached a group of people waiting for a taxi, before informing one girl she looked like a cross between Joni Mitchell and Sissy Spacek.

I don't know why, but I think she was considering slapping me. Instead she just walked behind her boyfriend, who gave me the evil eye, waved his arms around and told me to beat it.

When people accuse me of looking like Keanu Reeves or someone, I don't react like that.

    LOL.

People tell whatever they feel like when they are drunk but the worst thing is that "sitting with people who are drunk and listening to them without you drunk"...

I was 15. I was so drunk I literally crawled in to the house on my hands and knees. My mother sees me (so much for sneaking in..) and knows I am 3 sheets.

"I'd beat the sh1t out of you but you're so drunk you probably won't notice and forget I did!"

"That shounds like a plan... please beat me now... maybe the f*#cing room will shtop spinnin!"

it's one of the reasons I barely drink anymore except for a glass of red wine now and again and a little treat of Grand Marnier during the holidays.

because I really said this once: "I love you, Steve...hic...ah, I mean, Gary!"
now "Gary" was a real jealous guy. You can imagine what explaining I had to do the next day.

This is the MAIN reason I always used "pet" names back when I was dating. "Babe" was never a wrong name

My friends remind me of an incident circa 1985 in our home town.

Whilst walking home from our local pub one Friday night after a lengthy "session", a couple of local policemen (bobbies on the beat) asked us very politely to keep the noise down as we walked home.

I replied rather loudly (apparently) that I hadn't realised we were living in a f****** police state.

Luckily I was ushered away by my friends before any more harm was done.

    Cheers,

    Neil
