Who Is Bane?
Hi there reader,
I made this thread specifically so I could place it in my signature, letting anyone who wants to learn more about me to be able to.
My name is Bane Williams (Yes, my mother had a poor sense of humor), and I have been a marketer for just on four years now. Initially I started in the Internet Marketing business, but my skills really took off when I moved offline in mid 2011. I now consider myself pretty successful, but there is always a bigger fish!
A lot of very wise people have told me that it's suicide not using some form of anonymity on IMing forums, but I believe that being able to have that extra level of 'I am a real person' outweighs a lot of the inherent risk involved. Yes, my name is actually Bane, and a google search of my name shows you a lot about who I am from day to day (You'll notice I rarely talk shop on my social platforms).
Outside of all that though, I am at my core an ideas man. Every day I come up with new and interesting ideas, or rehashes on old ones. Sometimes they are grand ideas that would never work in a million years, but more frequently they are small changes that are easy to implement and give a lot of benefit.
When I was new to IM I decided to try and take it upon myself to do 52 methods in a single year, allowing a full week of concentration on a single method, before moving onto the next - It worked, and well, giving me quite a lot of revenue and allowing me to sell some of the more specific ideas and methods for cash, of course the downside is that I very quickly burnt out.... less than 8 methods in and I was being frazzled by information overload and moved away from the idea.
Over the months I spent time going through a lot of the internets forums devoted to the topic of Internet Marketing - I'm sure you know a lot of them. I always gave Warriorforum a bit of a wide berth however, due to a rather strange notion instilled by said other forums that this was a place of... well... morons. Of course, I found out later that quite a few of my friends were avid posters on here, and considered this to be one of the best places to share and gain information and support.
So here I am.
Almost two years after joining Warrior Forum I consider myself a successful marketer. Things are going very well in my offline business, I'm saving for a very expensive house (Because I don't want to buy a small house, then another house, and another house, just my dream one and that's it), I have a nice car, and own a business with over 200 staff in 4 countries. Basically, I couldn't be happier.
I am no 'guru' though I have made a lot more than many Internet Marketers will ever make. I have made mistakes, a lot of them, on the way to being where I am now. From selling ideas of mine (which went on to give the buyer ludicrous amounts of income) for double digits, to sending emails out to lists without affiliate links, to not joining Warrior Forum sooner....
I look forward to continue to share with you all,
Regards,
Bane Williams
