Hello Warriors-
I am hoping that there is a really tech savvy person out there that can offer me some help with my laptop. I am receiving the following error message out of the blue :

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or backup utilities. Check your hard drive configuration, and check for any updated drivers. Run CHKDSK/F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer..

Technical information:
*** STOP: 0X00000024 (0X001902FE, 0XF8A2780C, 0XF8A27508, 0XF82F1185)

*** Ntfs.sys - Address F82F1185 base at F82E4000, Datestamp 45cc56a7

I have never seen this message before. I turned the laptop off 2 nights ago. Last night I got home and turned it on and this blue screen appeared from the moment I turned on the PC. I am good with the computer but not when it comes to the technical side of things, such as this error message. I do not understand how I am suppose to try the suggestions they make when I cannot get around this screen. Where am I supposed to go and uninstall, check for updates or run a check disk?

I hope someone out there can help because I am on offline marketing and I really need my laptop for business but I cannot budget the purchase of a new one right now.

PLEASE HELP!
