I seem to have lost the ability to add line breaks into my posts. Even though I'm adding them when typing. here's one and another and again My posts seem to all come out as one long string... Anyone else getting this?

    Andy - try logging out and logging back in. I haven't had your problem before, and don't ask me why, but whenever "odd" problems come about for me I log out and back in and it seems to cure the problem. Worth a try anyhoo.

      Did you notice that Andy disappeared and hasn't returned to this thread? That's because everyone knows that once you log out, you can never get back in.

        In case you get back...yes, it does happen and it seems to affect only a few people at a time.

        I've had it happen a couple times - can't use the formatting (bold - quotes - etc) and line breaks don't show up at all.

        Usually seems to be resolved in a day or two.

    Along similar lines has anyone noticed that some posts don't count towards your total number of posts made? I'm made a number of posts only to see no change in the total count.

    Just wondering,

      Hi, Well I logged out and then back in without it making any difference and there's still a problem but I think I know what it is now.
      Somehow - I seem to be stuck in html mode in the editor when I post/reply.

      So I can't use any of the wysiwyg tools and buttons in the editor (including the one to go back off html mode, but I can type.

      To get my line breaks I'm using html code for the line break {you know - the br / tag. I can't type it for you or it'll do a line break }

      So there is a problem that I still don't know how to fix - but at least I know how to get a line break now.
