...Trash Talkers?

For those of us who've been around the block in this (at times) cutthroat industry, you're more than aware of people who have nothing better to do than to talk crap.

Sooooooo....

How do you handle these sad individuals?

      I don't handle them or attempt to.

      I know who I am - people who know me well know who I am. If someone talks trash about me - it's their thing, not mine.

      The only answer to those who talk trash about you is to be who you are. As people get to know you they can quickly discern whether the trash talk was true or not.

      Life is too short to run around like a chicken trying to control your image or to correct what others might say about you. If you are appreciated by those who do know and interact with you - the trash talkers don't matter.
